We specialise in the corrosion protection, monitoring, and maintenance of subsea and buried infrastructures in the energy and industrial sectors. With a strong focus on Cathodic Protection (CP) and Structural Integrity, we help ensure the long-term performance and safety of critical assets such as pipelines, tanks and foundations.
Our expertise covers industries such as oil & gas, renewable energy, and broader industrial infrastructure. We operate across Europe, Africa and Latin America, offering both engineering services and on-site technical support.
We work with leading players in the energy and infrastructure sectors — including national grid operators, global EPC contractors, and major energy logistics operators — who trust us to protect their most critical assets in challenging environments.
Engineering is at the heart of our company. Founded and led by engineers, we are, above all, an engineering-driven organisation. Our design work combines technical depth with real-world insight, enabling us to deliver protection and integrity solutions that are both robust and practical:
Execution without control is risk. We manage projects with engineering discipline — structure, precision, and ownership. In regulated sectors, we ensure full compliance, well documented and accountability at every stage:
From sourcing to commissioning, we manage the full execution chain. We ensure the right materials, the right partners, and the right sequencing. Every step is aligned with project specs, quality standards and site realities:
We manage assets beyond installation — through inspections, requalification, life extension studies, and CP maintenance. Our services ensure long-term performance, safety and regulatory compliance across the asset’s lifecycle.
At Integrity 850, our solutions are proven across four continents and trusted in some of the world’s most demanding environments.
We support global contractors and operators in energy and infrastructure, with a portfolio that includes onshore oil & gas (such as the UK National Gas Transmission Network), offshore flowlines and subsea structures, fuel storage and marina infrastructure. Here are some examples of our reference projects:
As part of the GranMorgu development in Suriname’s offshore Block 58 — a deepwater oil project led by TotalEnergies with APA Corporation and Staatsolie — major subsea infrastructure was deployed at depths of up to 1,100 meters. The project posed considerable technical challenges due to scale, complexity, and the need for tight coordination among multinational engineering teams. In such capital-intensive environments, design-stage risk mitigation is crucial, as post-installation corrections are extremely costly or unfeasible.
Integrity 850 was responsible for the engineering design of the cathodic protection systems for rigid pipelines and subsea structures, ensuring full compliance with demanding technical specifications. We also managed the procurement of materials, and supported both the installation and as-built survey phases using deep-sea ROVs. Our certified offshore technicians provided continuous support throughout critical phases, ensuring quality control and technical alignment in a high-risk offshore environment.
Over several years, Integrity 850 has supported cathodic protection projects across national gas networks in the United Kingdom and Portugal. Working with major operators — including National Grid, SGN, NGN, Cadent Gas, GALP and REN — we contributed to both new systems and upgrade programmes, ensuring compliance with G17, G35, PS5 and GL5. These projects involved cross-country pipelines and complex stations, requiring technical accuracy under live network conditions.
We delivered design and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, material selection, and full QA/QC documentation. Our services included advanced inspections (CIPS, DCVG, PCM, ACVG), interference assessments (stray currents), mitigation systems, and remote monitoring setup. We also supported commissioning phases and developed inspection procedures and CAD documentation, helping maintain long-term asset integrity across regulated markets.
As part of a requalification program for critical fuel infrastructure in the Azores, a buried jet fuel pipeline connecting the Nordela Jet Fuel Depot to Ponta Delgada Airport required long-term corrosion protection. The site included multiple pipe segments, isolation joints, and valve chambers — all in high-humidity, buried conditions with variable soil resistivity. Given the strategic importance of aviation fuel supply and safety, the project demanded a reliable cathodic protection system with minimal maintenance and full compliance with BS ISO 15589-1.
Integrity 850 provided the engineering design of the cathodic protection system, including modelling and dimensioning of both impressed current and sacrificial anode systems, adapted to the pipeline’s layout and exposure risks. We also managed the procurement and supply of all protection components and performed the as-built inspection, ensuring installation quality and traceability. The system was designed for a 30-year lifespan, integrating valve chambers, test stations, spark gaps, and reference electrodes for long-term monitoring.
As part of a key requalification project in Portugal’s largest private marina, 205 steel piles supporting dockside walkways required urgent corrosion mitigation. Originally installed in 1974, the coated piles — exposed to tidal fluctuations — showed signs of advanced degradation, including ALWC (Accelerated Low Water Corrosion) and MIC (Microbially Influenced Corrosion). Located in a high-salinity environment with buried and submerged zones, the structure demanded a low-maintenance, long-lifespan solution to protect one of southern Europe’s most iconic marina infrastructures.
Integrity 850 delivered the engineering design of the cathodic protection system, including full system modelling, anode layout, and material specification in line with DNVGL RP-B401 and EN ISO 13174. We also managed the procurement and supply of anodes, and conducted the as-built inspection, providing technical documentation and field verification. The system was tailored to site-specific corrosion risks, installation constraints, and lifecycle performance expectations.
At the core of Integrity 850 is a hands-on, engineering-led team that believes in building things that last — relationships included.
